HS History Teacher

Spearville High School is seeking a qualified and motivated educator to teach U.S. History, World History, and Government at the high school level. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality instruction aligned with Kansas state standards while fostering critical thinking, engagement, and academic growth in all students.

• Teach assigned history and government courses
• Develop and implement standards-based lesson plans
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Create a positive and respectful classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and administration
• Participate in school activities and professional development

• Valid Kansas teaching license (or ability to obtain one) with appropriate endorsement
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to student success in a small, close-knit school community

• Coaching and activity sponsor positions may be available for qualified candidates.

USD 381 base salary is $45,500 for the  school year.
