Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current Kansas Special Education teaching license required
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for individual students and small groups
• Organizational skills for managing documentation and IEPs
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' strengths and needs
• Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of inclusive and resource settings
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paras, and families to promote student success
• Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions for academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Maintain accurate records and participate in annual reviews, meetings, and evaluations
