Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full‑time Automotive Technology Instructor for our Garnett, Kansas campus, beginning with the Fall 2026 semester.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related field required (or willingness to obtain within an established timeframe).
Minimum of two years work experience in the automotive field or two years of teaching experience in automotive education.
A.S.E. Certifications in instructional areas (or willingness to obtain within an established timeframe).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Kansas teaching certificate is not required.

Salary and Benefits

9‑month full‑time position with salary paid over 12 months.
Starting salary: $40,000–$54,000, depending on education and experience.

Potential to earn additional compensation if teaching additional courses.
