Agent Territorial Spécialisé des Ecoles Maternelles

The Agent Territorial Spécialisé des Ecoles Maternelles assists teaching staff for the reception, animation, and hygiene of very young children, prepares and maintains cleanliness of the premises and equipment directly used by children. Additionally, they may assist teachers in classrooms or institutions that accommodate children with disabilities.

Main

Activities:

• Welcome children and parents or parental substitutes with the teacher;
• Help the child in acquiring autonomy;
• Monitor the safety and hygiene of children;
• Assist the teacher in the preparation and/or animation of pedagogical activities;
• Arrange and maintain premises and materials intended for children;
• Transmit information;
• Participate in educational projects.

Specific

Activities:

• Accompany children to nap time.

- Hold a diploma in Early Childhood Care

- Experience required in the field of child care

- Knowledge in the matter of hygiene and safety of young children

KNOWLEDGE:

• Enable the development of the child from 2 years old (motor, socio-affective and cognitive abilities).
• Respect the elementary principles of hygiene and safety.
• Favor the awakening of children by proposing with the teacher techniques of games and educational projects.
• Perfectly master the techniques of use of phytosanitary products.

SKILLS:

• Accompany the child in their daily learning.
• Help in the acquisition of autonomy.
• Ensure the safety of children.
• Apply the rules of hygiene and safety.
• Implement techniques of games and activities.
• Maintain and check the premises and equipment made available to children.

Art. L332-8 provision 6 of the general code of the territorial public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position because it is a specific position in a small community. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
