Job Title

Assistant Teacher Support in Early Childhood Education

Under the authority of the head of the "population" department, the agent will assist teaching staff through the reception, animation, and hygiene of children enrolled in kindergarten. The agent will also be responsible for the maintenance of premises and educational materials.

I. Assist the teacher in the preparation and animation of educational activities

- Prepare educational materials to support activities

- Participate in the animation of activities under the responsibility of the teacher

- Identify the physical, motor, and emotional needs of children to support their autonomy acquisition

- Help the child in their emotional and intellectual development and in the acquisition of sensory and motor functions

II. Ensure the safety and hygiene of children

- Ensure the safety of children in all circumstances

- Apply hygiene rules related to children

- Provide first aid and alert the competent services in case of an accident

III. Maintain premises and educational materials

- Ensure the cleaning of all kindergarten classrooms and materials directly used by children

- Store equipment in a safe place

- Hold a diploma in early childhood care

- Know the needs of children from 2 years old

- Show patience and kindness

- Understand the current regulations on safety and hygiene

Positions open on the following grades of the Territorial Public Service: ATSEM principal of 1st class, ATSEM principal of 2nd class

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of the territorial public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no application from a civil servant has been made. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
