USD 454-Burlingame is seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to join our team as a Junior High Math Teacher. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting the academic and personal growth of all students.

Key Responsibilities and

Qualifications:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with district and state standards
• Design and implement lessons that actively engage students in the learning process
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of students
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to monitor and support student progress
• Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about mathematics, committed to student success, and eager to contribute to a collaborative school culture.

First year teaching salary was $47,875 plus benefits for the  school year. Salary is based upon additional learning and experience. Supplemental sponsor ships and coaching positions may be available.

Secondary students have the opportunity to earn dual credits through Allen Community College. Students also have the opportunity to attend and earn a technical degree from Washburn Technical School due to a partnership between the Burlingame School District and Washburn Technical School located in Topeka, Kansas.
