Chamberlain University seeks a Nursing Simulation and Tutoring Expert to support student success in a mission-driven, student-centered environment. In this role, you will design and facilitate high-fidelity nursing simulations that strengthen clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient-safety skills. You will also provide one-on-one and group tutoring focused on core nursing concepts, clinical reasoning, and NCLEX readiness. Partnering closely with faculty, you will integrate simulation and tutoring into courses, track student progress, and use data to refine learning strategies.
You will maintain simulation lab technology and resources while promoting an inclusive, supportive culture that reflects Chamberlain's commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and preparing compassionate healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate high-fidelity nursing simulation scenarios aligned with program outcomes
- Provide individual and group tutoring to support nursing students' clinical reasoning and exam performance
- Assess student learning needs and create targeted remediation plans
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate simulation and tutoring into course curricula
- Evaluate simulation and tutoring effectiveness using data and adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain simulation lab equipment, software, and clinical supplies
- Ensure all simulation and tutoring practices align with accreditation and regulatory standards
- Document student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Participate in faculty development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support a student-centered, inclusive learning environment that reflects Chamberlain's mission and values
