Senior Manufacturing Product Engineer

Reinke Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Product Operations Engineer to support the development, release, manufacturing, and lifecycle management of electronic and electrical products used in agricultural irrigation systems. This role serves as a key link between Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Compliance, and Contract Manufacturing partners, ensuring products are manufacturable, compliant, cost-effective, and successfully transitioned from development to production.

• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, configurations, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate engineering changes, revision control, and product releases.
• Maintain product records and purchase‑part specifications.

• Support manufacturing operations and new product introductions.
• Coordinate activities with contract manufacturers and PCB assembly suppliers.
• Resolve manufacturing issues, component shortages, obsolescence, and material readiness concerns.
• Support sourcing, inventory management, and component qualification efforts.

• Support UL and regulatory compliance activities for industrial control products.
• Maintain certification records and technical documentation.
• Coordinate product readiness reviews and cross‑functional release activities.

• Support product recalls, corrective actions, field issues, and root cause investigations.
• Assist with prototype builds, testing, validation, and product performance evaluations.
• Drive continuous improvement of products and engineering processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, product, sustaining, or operations engineering.
• Experience with BOM management, engineering documentation, and change control.
• Proficiency with ERP, MRP, PLM, or similar systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and travel between Nebraska and Kansas locations.

• Experience with electronic products, PCB assemblies, or contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of UL, CSA, CE, or similar compliance standards.
• Experience with NPI, product releases, manufacturing test systems, and firmware provisioning.
• Familiarity with product costing, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
