Job Summary
The PCB Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining printed circuit board manufacturing processes to achieve high quality, yield, reliability, and cost efficiency. This role works closely with production, quality, CAM, and maintenance teams to support day-to-day operations and continuous improvement across all PCB fabrication processes. Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain PCB fabrication processes including imaging, etching, lamination, drilling, desmear, plating, solder mask, surface finish, and final test
• Establish and maintain process windows, control plans, and operating procedures
• Lead new material, chemistry, and equipment qualifications
• Monitor SPC data and key process metrics
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions
• Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing
• Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Maintain process documentation and support audits
• Support NPI, DFM, and customer technical reviews Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
• 3–7+ years of PCB fabrication or electronics manufacturing experience
• Strong understanding of PCB processes and wet chemistry
• Experience with SPC, DOE, and IPC standards
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with HDI, rigid-flex, or advanced PCB technologies
• Experience with AOI, X-ray, and cross-section analysis
• CAM and DFM experience Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery. Occasional extended hours may be required to support production or process changes.
