Process Technology Development Manager EIMEA

The Process Technology Development Manager EIMEA reports to the EIMEA Operations Director and has shared responsibility for leading Capex projects and local projects teams in the EIMEA Region. Planning, coordination, execution and documentation of technical projects in the field of process technology and engineering plus optimization of existing production processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality and safety is part of the main duties of this position.

  • Planning, coordination, execution and documentation of Capex projects
  • Preparation of Business Case:
    Project Financial Justification
  • Application of Full Funds Approval through COPM
  • Tracking of Project progress spend and timing
  • Maintaining and improving of Technical Documentation (P&IDs CAD; BOM) related to Capex projects
  • Driving technical innovation regarding production processes across the region
  • Fostering collaboration across sites and supporting sites in technical standardization (equipment, spare parts, etc.)
  • Drive unification and implementation of standards for new plants and equipment
  • Continuing improvement of technical knowledge and software skills by attending trainings, exhibitions and engineering related courses and conduct internal engineering/software related trainings
  • Further improvement of cross-regional communication in Engineering EIMEA
Minimum Requirements
  • University Degree (M. Eng/Sc.) in Process Technology, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Economical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, 2+ years in a similar role
  • Wide and very thorough technical understanding, good knowledge of different Adhesive production technologies and Process Engineering technologies
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • Strong communication, decision making and teamwork
  • Structured working method
