Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• General/Entry level financial knowledge to support operational planning (OP) and budget activities, tracking costs against targets, and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
• Analyze operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow.
• Maintain Action Tracker and drive the team for closure of the actions.
• Request operations team for Quality Gate details.
• Represent operations team in handover meetings.
• Identify part/material shortages ahead to reduce the impact on the factory.
• Modify SAP according to travel work and maintain documentation.
• Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, develop and implement optimized product flow.
• May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
• Develop and provide time standards to the shop floor as well as standard work for operations and processes.
• Utilize analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing.
• Perform trend analysis of shop performance measures (KPI) to identify risk and opportunities for improvements.

• Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of IE tools used in production: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of working experience with ME & MRO activities in aerospace programs.
