Responsibilities
- General/Entry level financial knowledge to support operational planning (OP) and budget activities, tracking costs against targets, and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Analyze operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow.
- Maintain Action Tracker and drive the team for closure of the actions.
- Request operations team for Quality Gate details.
- Represent operations team in handover meetings.
- Identify part/material shortages ahead to reduce the impact on the factory.
- Modify SAP according to travel work and maintain documentation.
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, develop and implement optimized product flow.
- May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
- Develop and provide time standards to the shop floor as well as standard work for operations and processes.
- Utilize analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing.
- Perform trend analysis of shop performance measures (KPI) to identify risk and opportunities for improvements.
- Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of IE tools used in production: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of working experience with ME & MRO activities in aerospace programs.
