Wastewater Engineer project Manager

A well-established regional consulting engineering firm is looking to add a Civil Project Manager to its growing municipal infrastructure team. This position will focus on the design and management of water treatment, water distribution, wastewater treatment, and collection system projects for local communities throughout the region. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a client-focused mindset.

Manhattan, KS | Lawrence, KS | Smithville, MO

• Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects from planning through construction
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports
• Serve as a point of contact for municipal clients and regulatory agencies
• Support permitting and construction administration activities
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of related civil engineering experience
• PE License preferred / a strong plus
• Experience with municipal water or wastewater infrastructure projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar engineering software preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
