Shipping & Invoicing Representative

Position Summary

McFarlane is a rapidly growing 50+ years old aviation firm that focuses on the design and manufacture of high-quality aircraft parts within the general aviation and commercial marketplace. Our growing business is looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy meeting daily customer demands by fulfilling orders on time and providing excellent service on shipping options for our customers. In this position, you will pull, package, quote, quality check and invoice daily orders within time constraints while keeping part traceability on lot numbers. The Shipper’s responsibilities include cross‑training in claims, warehouse organization and supply maintenance.

You will perform various projects as they occur and as time permits: carrier late delivery reports, package bulk stock, reorganize parts shelves, and physical counts.

• Accurately locate parts in a warehouse environment
• Package orders in a safe and economical manner
• Navigate inventory management systems to complete shipping transactions
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiencies
• Provide shipping quotes to customers
• Interface with freight carriers
• Be engaged in customer service communications
• Work with sales and accounting teams to perform daily financial close out duties

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven previous warehouse or manufacturing experiencel>
• Ability to navigate computer systemsl>

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs.
