Responsibilities- Maintains and monitors all funds entrusted to him or her on assigned shift
- Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to external and internal guests
- Cashes checks, converts gaming chips, tickets and coin for guests
- Supplies currency, coin and gaming checks to other departments as needed
- Performs all transactions with guests in a confidential manner
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Meets attendance guidelines as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Other duties as assigned by Cage Supervisors, Cage Managers and Casino Controller
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED, one year of prior related experience may be substituted for required education
- Must possess basic data entry skills and have the ability to read and interpret data output
- Prior money handling, check cashing, and basic mathematic proficiency
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook Appearance Standards
- Team player
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10‑key adding machine, personal computers, fax machine, and photo copier
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (7‑8 hours)
- Respond to visual and aural cues
- Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working an assigned duty
- Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly
