Reconciles bank accounts, provides monthly financial reports, processes purchase orders, maintains financial accounting and assumes other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Reconcile all bank accounts of the building, including petty cash accounts.
- Ensure the building has current signature cards on file with our banks.
- Prepare and deposit all revenue into bank accounts.
- Prepare monthly treasurer's report as required by the central office.
- Monitor delinquent student/parent accounts and prepare monthly reports.
- Sign building‑generated checks as required by statute.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and provide necessary reports and paperwork to the district office.
- Work effectively with others.
- Be cooperative and responsive to supervisor.
- Enjoy serving the public, especially students.
- Organized and focused on getting the job done.
- Understand, accept, and work toward the mission, goals, and objectives of the district.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Education and/or Experience
:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Language skills
:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies, members of the business community or patrons of the district. Ability to effectively present information to staff, patrons of the district and/or board of education. - Mathematical skills
:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. - Computer skills
:
Must have the computer skills and knowledge necessary to use district software with very limited additional training. - Reasoning ability
:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. - Certificates, licenses, registrations
