Position: Financial Solutions Advisor - Albany / Hudson Valley Market
Location: Latham

Responsibilities

  • Build financial plans for clients, incorporating brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking/money‑managed solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with clients’ financial goals and needs.
  • Triage client requests and refer them to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial‑center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services.
  • Maintain compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements, completing required background checks and maintaining good standing.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Series 7 & 66 licenses (or Series 63/65 in lieu of 66, with a passing score within 60 days).
  • At least one year of experience in the investment industry with in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in the financial‑service industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Strong relationship‑building and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage clients confidently.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and regulatory due diligence in daily activities.
  • Adaptability and a learning mindset.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability in a demanding environment.
  • At least three years of experience in the financial‑service industry or sales environment with goal attainment.
  • Professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
  • Insurance licenses.
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday, rotating Saturdays.
Education

Minimum:
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $65,000 – $80,000, plus eligibility for a formulaic incentive plan. Employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including paid time off and support for physical, emotional, and financial well‑being.
