Senior Accounting Manager

POSITION TITLE Senior Accounting Manager

This role leads core financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis. The position plays a key part in shaping financial strategy and supporting executive decision‑making.

• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
• Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations
• Oversee finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost‑control functions
• Direct and coordinate financial planning and budget management
• Manage debt financing and service payments
• Establish and implement short‑ and long‑term departmental goals, policies, and procedures
• Manage lines of credit, assets, and overall accounting functions
• Oversee preparation of the official annual report of revenues, transfers, and expenses
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results versus budget
  
  Lead and motivate teams to deliver high‑quality work within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Facilitate group meetings
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions
• Recommend benchmarks to measure departmental financial and operational performance
• Serve as a resource to senior management, contributing to organizational direction
• Participate in planning and policy‑making committees
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree + 1 year accounting management experience, or Associate degree + 3 years, or 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and financial software
