The Opportunity
Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a PRN Paramedic to join our team. This Paramedic position performs duties within the scope of practice in an Emergency Room facility setting. Under the direction of the on-duty provider, the Paramedic will take patient vitals, monitor cardiac and respiratory status, administer approved medications, apply and adjust orthopedic appliances, and assist the patient care team as directed.
Responsibilities- Perform duties within the scope of practice in an Emergency Room facility setting under the direction of the on-duty provider.
- Take patient vitals and monitor cardiac and respiratory status.
- Administer approved medications.
- Apply and adjust orthopedic appliances as directed.
- Assist the patient care team as requested.
- PRN
- Minimum of 12 hours per month
- Shift availability: 7:00am-7:00pm for 12-hour shifts and 7:00am-7:00am for 24-hour shifts
- Valid Driver's License
- Paramedic - KS
- BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire
