Amberwell Pharmacy is open 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday. In this role you will work 4 days per week with periodic availability to pick up shifts for additional pay. You have two technicians who work 8-4:30 and 9:30-6 daily. The pharmacy is closed for lunch from 12:30-1pm daily. Amberwell Pharmacy is located inside Amberwell Hiawatha Hospital which provides a smooth continuation of care for our patients transitioning out of the various areas within the hospital.
This provides the opportunity to partner with our inpatient pharmacists to not only provide excellent and efficient care, but to also effectively collaborate with providers across the health care spectrum and properly educate our patients/caregivers in the process.
This is a full-time on-site role for an outpatient pharmacist at Amberwell Pharmacy in Hiawatha, KS. The outpatient pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing patient counseling, collaborating with healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations, while managing inventory and pharmacy operations.
