About the Position
Fredonia Regional Hospital (FRH) is seeking a full‑time highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. FRH is recognized as one of the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the Country by the Chartis Center for Rural Health for the past six years.
ScheduleClinic hours:
Monday–Thursday 8:30a.m.–5:00p.m.;
Friday 8:30a.m.–4:00p.m. The position offers a 4‑day work week and includes Emergency Department primary call opportunities in addition to base salary.
The PA/NP will work in a clinical setting that includes the clinic, inpatient wards, and emergency department. Day‑to‑day volumes are approximately 6‑11 patients per clinic day, 3‑4 inpatient census, and 5‑6 emergency department visits.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in nursing (for APRN) or equivalent training for PA
- Current Kansas APRN licensure (for NP) or valid PA license
- Board Certification
- Current DEA certificate
- Confident working independently
- Strong work ethic
- Team player
- Able to manage Emergency Department and inpatient patients
Base salary with wRVU production bonus for clinic and inpatient volume. Emergency Department primary call is compensated separately. Health, dental, and vision are paid for by FRH.
