Travel Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment i n Mound City, MO .
- M-F, 8 hr days
- Times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with DOR. We do ask the therapists start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM /35 GWW - Start Date: 8/3/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Hourly Pay: $ 33.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 2236.00
- Weekend Requirements:
No weekends unless a holiday falls within M-F, then they can make the hours up on the weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively screens/evaluates/rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Assesses patient’s progress and adjusts treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.
- Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the speech disorders.
- Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy
- Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
- Participate in facility and company required training, in-services and conferences.
- Able to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Able to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
- Adherence to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Active ASHA and State Licensures
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
- Must have1 year of SLP experience
- New Grads OKAY- as long as a Level II experience and not just a Level I observation experience
- LTC or Rehab experience is required
- MO State License is required
- CCC certified SLP is required
- 3 years experience holding active CCS is preferred
- Will accept one Reference at time of submission
- Must be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association preferred
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
