Position Summary
Pharmacist in Charge – pharmacy manager role focusing on patient care, community outreach, and pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and other pharmaceutical programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
- Model, enforce, and provide direction on proper customer service approaches and techniques to resolve customer needs within company guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to serve as community members.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews.
- Proficiency in working with patients and healthcare providers effectively.
- Expertise in analyzing data to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.
- Competence in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
- Capability to manage a pharmacy, including overseeing staff and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.
- U.S. pharmacy related experience.
Annual salary range: $ – $. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses, regional pay zone adjustments, and complexity structure adjustments.
