I hope this message finds you well. I m reaching out to share an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner interested in a very low-volume, rural Emergency Department assignment with strong clinical support.
Assignment Overview
- Role: Emergency Department Physician Assistant (APP)
- Start Date: August 1, 2026
- Openings: 2
- Shifts: 3 4 shifts per week, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Length: 1-day coverage opportunities available
- Patient Volume: Approximately 3 4 patients per day
- Setting: Small, rural community hospital
Clinical & Facility Support
- Standard ER APP coverage
- Evaluation and care with access to telehealth services when no on-site provider is present
- Athena EMR
- On-site support including Charge Nurse and ED Nurse
- Lab services available
- Radiology on call (CT, X-ray, MRI)
- Temporary privileges granted
Compensation
- Direct Placement - company will negotiate salary
