Do you have a passion for science, accuracy, and helping patients? We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis.
At Wilson Medical Center, we serve patients of all ages in a critical access hospital setting, providing care in our emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient services. You'll be part of a supportive team performing a wide variety of testing in:
- Blood Banking
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Serology
- Urinalysis
- Molecular Testing
What You'll Do:
- Perform and report tests of all complexity levels as defined by CLIA.
- Interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control monitoring.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing for patients of all ages.
What We're Looking For:
- Certified MLS (4-year) or MLT (2-year) through ASCP or equivalent.
- Applicants with a bachelor's degree working toward certification within one year are encouraged to apply.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
Hours & Flexibility:
- PRN/casual shifts with variable start times based on your availability.
- Flexible scheduling to fit your life - occasional nights, weekends, and holidays may be included.
