Haviland Care Center in Haviland, Kansas is looking to hire a part-time Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you play a vital role in our community. You assist in preparing and serving meals to our residents, setting up trays, preparing snack items, and handling dietary requests for special events. You distribute food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meal plans, ensuring quality and temperature of food items. You also retrieve trays after dining time and wash dishes.

You maintain safety and sanitary conditions by picking up food and trash, cleaning tables, chairs, and food service equipment. You comply with federal, state, and local laws and company policies. Your warm, friendly demeanor enables excellent customer service and builds relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required; willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking.
• Ability to anticipate resident needs.
• English language proficiency sufficient for job duties and interaction with residents, vendors, and team members.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. Trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, and a team player will succeed in this role.

Part-time dietary position with scheduled days, evenings, and rotating weekends.
