Travel Physical Therapist – Ellsworth, Maine

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel assignment in Ellsworth, Maine. The role will be an acute care position with a 26‑week contract beginning May 11 2026.

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
• Oversee PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the facility, following applicable guidelines and regulations.
• Understand and comply with the PT board’s rules and regulations in the state of Maine.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care.
• Assess and utilize adaptive equipment.
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition.
• Use the Medical Center’s computer systems to perform daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and insurance guidelines.

• Minimum 6 months of professional PT experience; 1 year preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state‑specific PT licensing required.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
