Registration Clerk - Full-time - Clinic Setting

Registration Clerk Opportunity

Clay County Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registration Clerk to join our team at Clay Center Family Physicians. This is a full-time position and we are in need of availability between 7:45 am – 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients checking in for appointments.
• Maintain current patient documentation (insurance, address, phone number, consent for treatment etc.)
• Collect copayments at time of service.
• Answer incoming calls and manage messages.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
• Support clinical staff with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong office skills and proficiency with computers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Highly organized and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Previous medical experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right person.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed for the benefit of the department and our patients.

Requirements:

• Post-offer drug screen, background check, and physical exam are required.
