PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour days from 08:00 to 17:00.

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a diverse patient demographic and be skilled in various physical rehabilitation techniques. This role demands a commitment to delivering quality care and supporting patients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop customized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Kansas State Physical Therapist license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
