Position: Full Time MRI Technologist - Up to $102,000/YR!

MRI Technologist

The Full Time MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety and image quality, and collaborates with the radiology team to support accurate diagnoses in Sabetha, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
  • Prepare and educate patients regarding MRI procedures while addressing questions and concerns
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications, including implants and medical devices
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards
  • Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies
  • Perform routine equipment quality assurance checks and report maintenance concerns
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during every patient interaction
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging protocols
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Preferred

Skills:
  • ARRT (MR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain if applicable
  • Previous MRI experience preferred
  • Experience operating MRI equipment in a hospital or outpatient setting
  • Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic image quality
  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
