Advance your career in medical imaging by supporting essential breast health services as a Mammography Technologist. This 13-week contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule—no nights, weekends, or call—providing excellent work-life balance.

Schedule:

  • 5x8-hour shifts, Days (Monday–Friday)

Required Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT(M) certification
  • Valid Kansas state radiologic technologist license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated experience as a mammography or mammo tech
  • Strong proficiency with current EMR systems (Meditech preferred)
  • Commitment to maintaining all necessary documentation for ACR and FDA compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physician-prescribed mammography procedures with accuracy and compassion
  • Operate mammography radiographic equipment, ensuring safe and high-quality imaging
  • Evaluate image data for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as warranted
  • Clearly explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout
  • Oversee and participate in all patient communication requirements per MQSA/FDA/ACR standards (reports, recall/reminder letters, biopsy reports, etc.)
  • Chart charges and procedures accurately within the hospital billing system
  • Carry out daily quality control functions and preventive maintenance on imaging equipment
  • Take part in all quality assurance and accreditation efforts of the imaging department
  • Compile and maintain statistical data (biopsy, surgical reports) for regulatory requirements
  • Proactively prepare for subsequent day’s mammography schedule, including obtaining prior exams and reports for radiologist review
  • Assist colleagues and function as a Radiology Technologist during downtime in mammography

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
