ASCP Registered Dietitian (RD) - Full Time Days

Join a compassionate healthcare team providing medical nutrition therapy to patients across all age groups in an acute care environment within the Central Plains region of the United States. This role involves delivering personalized nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare staff while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team.

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments utilizing the nutrition care process.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
• Provide tailored medical nutrition therapy to support patient health and recovery.
• Assist with menu planning and contribute to nutrition-related projects as needed.
• Serve a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
• Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients, families, healthcare team members, and external partners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals.

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is required.

Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. If not currently registered, registration must be obtained within one year of hire. State licensure is required.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic knowledge of enteral and parenteral nutrition.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Fundamental nutrition assessment expertise.

Light physical work involving occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds. Approximately 11-25% of the workday may involve standing or walking. Accommodations available as needed.
