Registered Sonographer

Registered Sonographer - Full or Part Time

Rooks County Health Center is seeking an experienced and
motivated Registered Sonographer to join our Radiology
Department. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate
professional who works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
• Ensure image quality, accurate documentation, and proper patient identification.
• Review patient information and communicate pertinent findings to the radiologist.
• Follow infection prevention, privacy, and safety procedures.
• Maintain professional competency and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound training program.
• RDMS (AB/OBGYN)
• RVT (VT)
• RDCS (AE) a plus, although not required
• Experience performing general, vascular, OB, small parts, and other diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Commitment to maintaining current credentials, continuing education, and departmental standards
• Must be highly motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
