Ellsworth County Medical Center is seeking a motivated and independent Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to provide weekend on-call coverage in our rural healthcare setting. - Manage inpatient, ER support, and/or clinic needs depending on schedule and experience

- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Kansas licensure (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification preferred
- Emergency, family practice, hospitalist, or rural health experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Education:
Completion of an accredited nursing program with a master’s degree and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program; or completion of a four‑year accredited physician assistant program and a year of clinical training; or completion of a two‑year accredited physician assistant program plus two years of clinical training after PA program. - Experience:
Previous experience related to the management of inpatients and ED care required. - Preferred

Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; excellent interpersonal and technical skills; strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy‑to‑understand language; strong independent judgment and decision‑making skills. - Certifications/Registrations:
Current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant or APRN; ACLS and PALS current or within 90 days of hire; ATLS current or within 6 months of hire; BLS.
