Advanced Mental Health Technician - PRN

Join a compassionate team providing intensive, goal-oriented support to individuals experiencing mental health crises in the Midwest region. This role focuses on crisis stabilization services, ensuring client safety, medication compliance, and goal management through positive and supportive interactions.

• Deliver timely and accurate documentation following organizational policies.
• Provide crisis stabilization and support daily living activities for clients in mental health crisis.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques effectively when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Foster professional communication and relationships with clients, healthcare teams, and external agencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Preferred:
  Two or more years of professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or related fields.

• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements if driving is necessary.
• Successful completion of background checks including KBI, DCF, child and adult abuse registries, and motor-vehicle screenings.

• Familiarity with community mental health services.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Light work involving occasional exertion up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 11-25% of the workday, with or without accommodation.
