This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a critical access hospital in Quinter, Kansas, focused primarily on inpatient care with a 75% Med/Surg component. You’ll be assisting in delivering 1-2 babies per week, with specialized duties in maternal and fetal health, while maintaining a 1:1 OB patient ratio. The role involves night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, three days a week, providing a peaceful nighttime environment to focus on patient needs.
Required credentials include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Prior experience in a critical access setting and familiarity with CPSI or Perigen charting are needed.
