Location: Burlington
Role: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders; develop individualized treatment plans; perform screenings; educate patients and families; report progress; and ensure accurate documentation per guidelines.
Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months experience (1 year preferred, new grads encouraged); ASHA certification; state-specific license; BLS; ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Key Duties- Assess and treat patients with speech, language, or swallowing impairments.
- Create personalized therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
- Conduct screenings and educate patients and families about speech disorders.
- Maintain timely documentation and report progress to relevant parties.
