Equity Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Operations Generalist to join a growing organization in Edwardsville, Kansas
.
The Operations Generalist will partner closely with leadership and the parent company's People Operations team to ensure compliance, support employees throughout the employment lifecycle, and maintain accurate payroll and labor reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys balancing HR responsibilities with payroll and operational support.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary onsite HR resource for employees and managers.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving workplace issues, and promoting effective communication.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting positions and partnering with recruiting agencies.
- Manage new hire onboarding and employee offboarding processes.
- Prepare and process employment documentation, including onboarding and termination paperwork.
- Support annual performance review cycles, salary administration, and employee performance documentation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and performance records.
- Administer employee benefits and serve as the onsite contact for benefit-related questions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and mandatory training requirements.
- Maintain employee training records and compliance documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related function.
- Strong understanding employment regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Access is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience supporting construction, manufacturing, or engineering organizations.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of labor reporting and project-based payroll administration.
