We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Dev Ops Engineer to partner with our development teams and accelerate the deployment, testing, and release of applications. This role involves automating and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across various environments.

• Responsible for the development, optimization and delivery of cloud computing solutions, hosted services and underlying software infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA and development environments through the development lifecycle
• Supports and troubleshoots scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments
• Evaluates new tools, technologies and processes to improve speed, efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor server and application performance using one or more of Application Performance Monitoring tools:
  New Relic, Cloud Watch and Sumologic
• Partners with application developers on the seamless deployment of software
• Responsible for optimizing and enhancing infrastructure performance
• Manage the installation and configuration of solutions
• Oversee routine maintenance procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Document processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Implement best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Dev Ops
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT field
• Experience in Information Security and Networking
• Background in Linux (RHEL) based infrastructure
• Comfortable with command line tools (Bash, Powershell)
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (such as Git Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev Ops – Git Lab CI/CD preferred)
• Experience with building dashboards, configuring and integrating with both infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting tools (such as AWS Cloud Watch, New Relic)
• Extensive hands‑on proficiency in Infrastructure configuration management and IAC methodologies and technologies (such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Chief, Puppet – Terraform preferred)
• Proficiency in common Dev Ops development languages (such as Python, Node – Python preferred)
• Experience on Automation platforms(Ansible)
• Experience with serverless frameworks (Zappa, Serverless, Chalice)
• Experience with building new Cloud systems that completely support microservice architectures (API Gateway, serverless compute, Redis, No
  
  SQL DBs) as well as legacy client/server architecture (EC2, Docker, Load Balancers, databases).
• AWS experience preferred, and candidates with AWS Developer or AWS Solution Architect Associate certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience with Java build, packaging and dependency management and storage systems (such as Maven, Gradle, Artifactory)
• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (such as Cucumber, Robot, Selenium, JMeter)
• Experience with creating alerts, dashboards, canned queries – as well as configuring and integrating log aggregation (such as Sumo Logic, Splunk, ELK, syslog – Sumo Logic preferred)
• Experience with the containers and container management systems (such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate/ECS)
• Experience with the use of artifacts.
• Experience with Deployment strategies
• Experience with MS SQL, AWS Aurora Postgre
  
  SQL Serverless administration / optimization
• Familiar with Agile software development life cycles
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations for high availability and uptime

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
