To strengthen our Procurement Team at our Speyer location, we are looking for a full-time employee as:

Your tasks:

• Development and implementation of sourcing and product group strategies in the area of IT & Indirects (software, hardware, IT services)
• Independent execution and management of tenders and award processes
• Conducting price and contract negotiations including the conclusion of framework agreements
• Building, evaluating, and developing a supplier portfolio as well as conducting cost analyses and benchmarks
• Commercial management of IT procurement projects and taking over the commercial responsibility for costs, contracts, and risks
• Close, partnership-based cooperation with IT to define technical requirements and evaluate suitable solutions
• Active role at the interface between IT and purchasing with the aim of transferring technical requirements into economic and contractual solutions
• Coordination with other departments to ensure a holistic and efficient procurement process
• Development of procurement processes in the area of IT & Indirects and participation in cross-departmental initiatives (e.g., digitalization and standardization)

Your profile:

• Completed degree (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or IT procurement in the indirect environment
• Sound knowledge in the IT field (e.g., SaaS, Cloud, Enterprise Agreements, Microsoft)
• Experience in contract negotiations and supplier management
• Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into economically viable solutions
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor at the interface between IT, purchasing, and other departments
• Experience in working together in interdisciplinary project teams
• Analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent working method
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach and assertiveness
