Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the system servers and monitors the network to ensure optimal performance. Maintains system security in accordance with HIPAA and established policies/procedures, through access groups, user groups, and permission restrictions. Sets up and maintains print services, system files and distributed services. Perform backups and participates in contingency preparation and recovery. Requires a detailed level of understanding of workstation operating system and work station hardware.

Maintains communications systems including internet access, email, VoIP, and IP cameras, etc.

• Able to work as a member of a team and also independently.
• Understand and follow safe work practices.
• Ensure that all Amberwell procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Install and configure hardware and software components
• Repair or replace damaged hardware
• Upgrade systems to enable compatible software
• Install and upgrade antivirus software
• Travel to client sites
• Perform tests on new hardware and software
• Define software, hardware and network requirements
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
