Strategic and operational leadership of logistics

Full responsibility for logistics at the Speyer site, managing inbound logistics, warehousing, internal transport, and outbound shipping.

Leadership and development of the logistics organization

Leading teams with a focus on objectives and continuously improving the logistics organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and collaboration.

Ensuring smooth material flow

Ensuring reliable supply to production and timely delivery of products throughout the entire value chain.

Optimization of logistics processes and structures

Identifying improvement potentials through analysis of existing processes and actively driving measures to increase efficiency and optimize processes.

Control of logistics KPIs and costs

Responsibility for relevant logistics KPIs, monitoring inventory and delivery performance, and managing the logistics budget with a focus on cost-effectiveness.

Cooperation with internal and external partners

Working closely with production, planning, procurement, and supply chain management, and coordinating with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and customs offices.

• Successfully completed degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in a responsible position in logistics or supply chain within a manufacturing company.
• Experience in leading and developing teams.
• Deep understanding of logistics processes and material flows, with analytical and structured working methods.
• Proficient use of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented, self-reliant approach.
