Operations Administrator
Monday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day) 1st Shift Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm
General Summary
The Operations Administrator evaluates supply chain data, tracks daily performance metrics, and optimizes facility workflows. Core duties include building performance dashboards, identifying operational bottlenecks, and improving inventory accuracy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Tracks a variety of metrics, including customers KPI's and facility metric tracking reports and prepares weekly and monthly review documents
- Build daily, weekly, and monthly reports on labor utilization, productivity, and trend reporting
- Utilize report outputs to identify issues and develop improvement plans
- Facility Document Control Coordinator – maintains consistent records and assures compliance to the program is met and all new documents are within the required controls
- Calculate billing rates for special work orders according to contractual agreements
- Collects and reports all facility LMS data and controls tracking and administration of accountability programs
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between WMS systems and work with inventory department to resolve
- Partner with inventory, transportation, and warehouse leadership to execute continuous improvement goals
- Coordinates all facility purchasing functions and investigates best price models.
- Maintain tracking of facility maintenance repairs, expenses and parts inventory levels to ensure site downtime is minimal
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred and/or 1 to 3 years of hands-on analytical experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, power query) and familiarity with SQL or Power BI
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills to find multiple viable solutions for a challenge
- Critical thinking to determine what data and information is useful for the task
- Familiar with purchasing functions and financial analysis
