Facilities/Lot Maintenance Technician - Goodland
American Implement is seeking a Facilities/Lot Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining the image of store facilities, lot and grounds through routine maintenance. This individual must be self‑driven and able to identify and seek necessary maintenance and improvements within the property and grounds. This position will report to the Service Manager/Shop Foreman. Candidate must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and have a clean motor vehicle record.

- Full‑time position with 45+ hours/week.
- $16‑$20/hour depending on experience.

- Cleans and maintains shop facilities.
- Maintains grounds including lawn, equipment displays, and parking lot.
- Removes snow and debris from sidewalks and in front of buildings.
- Performs minor building maintenance and repairs.
- Services, assembles and replaces things like light bulbs, filters, fixtures and displays.
- Notifies management of the need for repairs that cannot be completed in house.
- UPS Freight, Mail, Supplies and other errands.
- Parts & Service Runner when needed.
- Washes, cleans and details shop vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Helps set up for meetings, lunches, or special events.
- Demonstrates a constant commitment to customer service.
- Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations of the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, self‑motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact with staff and customers while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires driving a vehicle, hearing normal tones, and seeing.
- May be exposed to extreme weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions.
