Work Hours:
7-8 months of the year. Shift hours are 6am-2pm, with occasional overnight shifts in spring. During Peak Spring season (March–May), required shift hours are 3pm-11pm.
Maintenance Technician, Yearbook team. Responsible for performing varied skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment.
Responsibilities- Install conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and related equipment.
- Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using voltmeters, temperature sensors, or pressure gauges.
- Test and calibrate HVAC controls.
- Perform construction activities such as welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.
- Check and repair pumps, fans, valves and motors.
- Repair minor equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping.
- Experience with Lockout-Tagout procedures.
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills, some PLC experience and HVAC.
- Technical capacity and communication proficiency.
- Results-driven and proactive in initiative.
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent production maintenance experience.
- Top candidates will have an Electrical Journeyman License.
The position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus.
