Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade

We are hiring Rockstars to join our Sauer Brands team!
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control of products. This role provides leadership to warehouse staff, maintains a safe and compliant work environment, and drives continuous improvement to support operational and business goals.
Monday – FridayKey Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and inventory control.
- Supervision of warehouse activities, ensuring associates follow plant safety rules, quality procedures, GMP, and SQF policies and requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to ensure productivity, accountability, and engagement.
- Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and all safety standards; promote a strong safety culture.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics (productivity, accuracy, labor utilization, and costs) and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with transportation, purchasing, and other departments to meet customer and business requirements.
- Manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and corrective action.
- Oversee warehouse equipment, layout, and space utilization to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive accountability.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
