EHS Manager – Onsite, Hesston, KS
We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs across our organization. The role will set strategic improvement plans, ensure compliance, and lead a team of safety professionals.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, monitor regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.
- Oversee EHS staff – hiring, training, performance management, scheduling.
- Maintain accurate exposure and discharge records per regulatory requirements.
- Set EHS priorities, develop strategic plans, and track key metrics.
- Monitor adherence to safety procedures, conduct inspections, prepare reports.
- Act as liaison with regulatory agencies and external consultants.
- Facilitate external audits, implement recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training programs on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other EHS topics.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims, incident reporting, and insurance communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Safety-related certifications preferred.
Annual Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,460 (location based). Other benefits include medical, dental, life, vision, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Additional program benefits provide discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools.
