Join a dynamic healthcare administrative team as an Administrative Business Office Manager, where you will oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth billing processes. This role involves managing staff attendance, conducting interviews, and supporting performance appraisals to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise office services and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Monitor billing staff attendance and address performance issues through coaching and written action plans.
- Assist leadership in evaluating staff performance annually.
- Oversee accounts receivable status both individually and collectively.
- Review and approve supply requisitions and assign clerical billing functions.
- Promote outstanding customer service and foster respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
- Maintain and provide input on billing and registration systems, ensuring accurate charge master management and billing code usage.
- Participate in system oversight committees and liaise with vendors to resolve technical issues.
Education:
- Preferred:
Associate's degree in Business or Medical Office Administration.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years in a supervisory office role.
- Preferred:
Five years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting.
Requirements and Skills:
- Strong coaching, counseling, and disciplinary skills.
- Excellent mathematical and reasoning abilities.
- Proficiency with personal computers and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex reports and instructions effectively.
- Integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in communication and leadership.
- Ability to manage conflict, inspire teams, and lead process improvements.
