Administrative Business Office Manager

Benton, KS $52,099 - $72,099 a year

Join a dynamic healthcare administrative team as a Business Office Manager overseeing daily office operations and procedures. You will lead billing staff attendance monitoring, conduct interviews, and recommend hires for open positions. Collaborate closely with the CFO to draft annual performance appraisals for business office personnel. Manage Accounts Receivable status both individually and cumulatively, approve supply requisitions, and supervise clerical functions within the billing process.

Functions
  • Recruit, hire, orient, and train office staff to maintain a productive team.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees to achieve office goals while monitoring and appraising job performance.
  • Develop and implement office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce office policies and procedures, measuring outcomes and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
  • Provide input and maintain the Claim Trak System related to billing and registration, ensuring accurate charge master management.
  • Serve on the Claim Trak Committee to oversee system maintenance and communicate with vendors regarding system issues and enhancements.
  • Foster positive relationships with personnel and the public, taking responsibility for self-development.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience or training in coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Strong math and reasoning abilities.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and spreadsheet applications, including accurate spreadsheet development and report interpretation.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of three years general office experience in a supervisory role.

    Associate degree in Business or Medical Office and five years of medical office supervisory experience.
