Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) – Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead operations at a skilled nursing facility in Kansas. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about resident care, team development, regulatory compliance, and creating a positive facility culture.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a hands‑on management style with the ability to build relationships with staff, residents, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the skilled nursing facility

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

  • Lead and support department heads and interdisciplinary teams

  • Foster a positive culture focused on resident-centered care and employee engagement

  • Monitor clinical quality measures and operational performance

  • Manage budgets, financial performance, staffing, and census development

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure high standards of care

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community stakeholders

  • Support survey readiness and ongoing quality improvement initiatives

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain strong team members across all departments

Qualifications
  • Active Nursing Home Administrator license (LNHA) in applicable state, or ability to obtain reciprocity

  • Previous skilled nursing facility leadership experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and operations

  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced healthcare environment

  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, and census management preferred

  • Experience with Point Click Care  (PCC) or similar EHR systems preferred
